Ecclesiastes Chapter 3: To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant , and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down and a time to build up; A time to weep and a time to laugh; A time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep and a time to cast away; A time to rend and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love , and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace. Our world and our lives are full of constant changes. Sometimes it seems like it is total confusion to us, but to God, it is all a small part of His perfect plan.
We have sold our beautiful church building in Hampton Georgia to a church that is in need of a place to have services and serve God. We are going to relocate to Coffee Springs Alabama and with God's guidance continue to serve Him to the best of our ability. He led me there and I know that he has a mission for me there. I will wait upon the Lord to show me where he wants me to be.
We have over 850 sermons here on our website. Each sermon is preached a chapter at a time, and each verse is explained in detail.
They are both inspirational and educational. We hope that you will benefit from the teaching of the word of God that is made available to you. May God bless you and strengthen you for the battle. have been in Alabama since
1/2/25
We have been living in Alabama since April 1, 2024. We visited two local churches and they were contemporary with a sermon built around one verse from the Bible and out of context. We visited another church outside Samson Alabama called New Prospect Baptist Church, and the preacher was an elderly man that preached the Bible verse by verse. He asked me if I was a pastor and I told him that I was, and that we had closed our church in Hampton. He asked if I had any prospects and I told him that I was waiting on the Lord to show me what to do. Around the end of July he asked me to preach on the next Sunday morning. He asked me to fill in for him on the morning and evening of August 11. The next Sunday morning he met me when I came in the church and asked me if I could fill in for him for the evening service and I told him that I would. When he got in the pulpit he announced that he was resigning because of health problems. We have been there ever since. God led us to New Prospect, and we will stay until He moves us somewhere else or leads us to open another Open Bible Baptist Church. We will continue to serve Him to the best of our ability.
Yours in Christ,
